Here are some fun movie facts for Avengers: Endgame, released in 2019. Which everyone agrees was last decent year for watching movies in small areas with other people.
1. Natalie Portman didn’t actually film any footage for her appearance in this film. Her footage was leftover from filming Thor: The Dark World. Despite this, she still attended the movie premier.
2. Ballerina shoes can be seen in the background as Black Widow gathers the Avengers. This is a subliminal message towards her training in the Red Room during Avengers: Age of Ultron.
3. This film broke the Star Wars: Episode VII - the Force Awakens Thursday night preview record of $57 million by hitting $60 million.
4. This film contained Stan Lee’s last cameo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Stan Lee passed away on November 12th, 2018 at the age of 95.
5. Robert Redford has never returned to a franchise to play a character a second time, except for this film.
6. Robert Downey Jr. has many scenes where he is eating snacks. These were all improvised, as he would hide snacks around set and then offer them to co-stars.
7. This film is the first to surpass a billion dollars in its first weekend in theatres. It remains the highest grossing movie of all time.
8. During the film, Hulk and Iron Man Pez dispensers can be seen in Thor’s room beside Stormbreaker.
9. Avengers: Endgame passed Titanic in box office sales. When this happened James Cameron sent a letter of congratulations, he included a photo of an Avengers letter A replacing the iceberg the Titanic hit.
10. Avengers: Endgame was a back-to-back shooting extravaganza with Avengers: Infinity War. Both films were shot over the time span of 200 days.
