1. Running in and Out of Rooms

If you see someone running in and out of rooms where they clearly weren’t planning on doing a task, you have to ask yourself what else they planned on doing. Scouting for lonely victims, perhaps?

2. Not Rushing to Fix Emergencies

If they don’t run to fix the sabotage, or don’t fix it right away. If you’re a crewmate, you should want to fix the sabotage to stay alive. Some exceptions are if they wanted to finish a task, but it’s still sus. Keep an eye out for people who aren’t eager to fix sabotages.

3. Vent Proximity

If they’re one vent away from a dead body. Since imposters can vent, being in a different room near a vent is basically like standing over the dead body. If there’s someone dead in electrical, being in Security is not a great excuse. It’s easy to kill and vent, so be careful of people in proximity to the body.

4. Not Completing Tasks

If you think someone is faking a task, they could be an imposter. If stand in front of a task longer or shorter than the task requires, they could be pretending. If the task bar doesn’t go up, you may have an imposter on your hands.

5. Self-Reporting

If they keep discovering bodies, they could be self-reporting. Imposters can kill people then report the body themselves. If this happens more than once, you could have an imposter on your hands.

6. Accusing Other Players for no Reason

There’s one thing to accuse with proof, and a whole other to sus someone for no reason. If you see someone piling on sus for very little reason, they could be trying to divert attention away from themselves.

7. They Vote Right Away

If someone votes right away from an inkling of sus directed at someone else, without waiting to hear the whole story, they could be an imposter. If you care more about voting anyone out, rather than voting specific people (imposters) out, then you may have a reason for this tactic.

8. Keep Track of People

Watch out for couples or groups in your head. When you’re walking around, take note of who went into which room. For example, say, “blue and green in nav,” in your head to remember they were together in Navigation together. This way, if blue were to die in Navigation, you could safely accuse green.

9. They Aren’t Moving

If they’re AFK (away from keyboard) that’s one thing, but if they stop running and then a sabotage occurs, they could’ve been scouring the map to cause an emergency.

10. Sit on Cameras

If you watch the cameras in Skeld, you can see who goes in and out of which rooms. If a body is dead in Medbay and you saw someone go into Medbay, you can accuse them. You can also see if people are lying when they say they were in Medbay, as if you didn’t see them go in, they could’ve vented.
